It is vital for all of us to protect the environment and to reduce the use of papers, with effect from January 1st, 2009, monthly bonus cheque and statement will not be send out via mail. To check your statement, please visit our website www.bwl.com.hk. Please fill in the Autopay Form so there will be no delay in your bonus payment. Should member still prefer to receive bonus in cheque, the cheque will be kept at the office for member to pick up.

With effect from November 1st, 2008, a new ENP Plan has already been implemented. Should you have any enquiries regarding the new plan, please contact our customer service at 3583-1838.

Due to the implementation of the new ENP Plan in November, the criteria for Yearly Bonus in 2008 will be pro-rated to 20,000UBV. The effective cut off date for Yearly Bonus will be 31st October 2008. Members will need to have maintenance of 100PBV in October to be eligible for Yearly Bonus. Yearly Bonus requirement for 2009 will include UBV points for November and December 2008.

With effect from 1st October 2008, all international membership registration will need to be accompanied by a photocopy of the identification card.

Hong Kong Regional Office Service Centre will be closed on New Year's Day, January 1st (Thursday), and Lunar New Year, January 26th (Monday) to 28th (Wednesday).

bwL is proud to be represented at the historic pre-Games Olympic Torch Relay currently taking place across China’s various provinces. Best World (Hunan) Health Sciences Company Limited’s General Manager in China, Mr Lau Chong Guan, was selected as one of the torch bearers of the Yueyang, Hunan leg of the relay. He said, “I am ecstatic to be part of the Olympic Torch Relay. As an overseas Chinese and a representative of a foreign investment company, I am honoured to be able to do my part in China’s nation building efforts. Many people cheered me on along the way. That sense of community was indescribable and filled me with deep elation.”

To do our bit for the victims of the Sichuan earthquake disaster, bwL called upon all distributors and staff in the region to donate generously to the cause. Effective from January 1, 2008, all prices and BV bonus ratio will be adjusted. BV bonus ratio has increased from 4.8 to 4.9.

Due to increasing operation costs and the Hong Kong Dollar’s weakened exchange rate, bwL will adjust the prices of all products while the BV bonus ratio will be increased. The main objective of joining the HKDSA is to assure our distributors and the public that bwL has the highest level of business ethics within the direct selling industry and maintains a viable, self-regulating consumer protection program to provide excellent products.

As a member of the HKDSA, a company is entitled to carry the HKDSA logo, which is perceived as the standard bearer of ethical direct selling. You can expect extra protection when you purchase a product from a sales representative associated with a member company of the HKDSA because all member companies have agreed to subscribe to the Code of Conduct of the HKDSA.

The Hong Kong Labour Department has certified Best World Lifestyle (HK) Co., Ltd. as a socially responsible enterprise that provides employees with wage protection, and has therefore presented the company with a specially designed logo for use.

bwL Hong Kong’s volunteer team conducted its first outreach visit in collaboration with the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong on 22 July 2007. The families visited were of diverse backgrounds, including the elderly, people rehabilitating from mental problems and single-parent families.

It is hoped that bwL’s volunteer team could inspire more people to lend a helping hand to the underprivileged. Together, let’s foster a harmonious community, a core value of bwL’s.

bwL International Convention 2007, A Date with Success - an international gathering that saw bwL members from all over the world assembling at Genting Highlands, Malaysia, to celebrate our stellar performance this past year, kicked off on 5 May 2007 amidst great anticipation. 

Top sales performers including newly promoted Silver Directors, Gold Directors, Platinum Directors and Million Dollar Achievers basked in their night of glory as they strode on stage to receive their prestigious awards respectively.

For Hong Kong, we were honored to have 2 Newly Promoted Silver Directors, Ms. Shiu Yuet Wah and Ms. Pang Fook Kyun, recognized at the event, attended by over 2,000 participants.

Celebrities who lent their special touch of glamour to the event included Daniel Lee, the 2005 winner of Malaysian Idol, Jaclyn Victor, 2004 winner of Malaysian Idol, and Guang Liang of Tong Hua fame. bwL’s Executive Director, Mr. Huang Ban Chin gave a moving vocal performance as he belted out familiar hits like Jacky Cheung’s "Perhaps Love”. We look forward to yet another gathering next year to be held in Singapore!
